1.6 Electrical Safety
Please pay attention to the input voltage of the receivers!
Please plug the cables only into the correct sockets.
1.7 Operators
• No one other than authorized persons should operate the in-
strument and it must be serviced and repaired by trained spe-
cialists.
• No one suffering from medical problems or who are under the
influence of medications, drugs, alcohol or suffer from over-
tiredness should be permitted to operate the instrument.
2 Installation
2.1 Unpacking
Check that the items supplied correspond to your order.
2.2 Erection
• Use the instrument only inside
• Operating temperature of the receivers 20-40°C.
• Put the Receiver beside the PC, which will be used. Plug the
interface cable (9-pole) into the COM 2 on the PC and into the
interface of the receiver. To use another serial interface
change the settings, using the software.
2.3 Electric connection
Compare the voltage - and current-values stated on the type plate be-
fore connecting the power plug with the mains voltage.
Use a plug-in power supply if you use a different volatage than
230V AC, which should have an output voltage of 12V DC and a
power of 300mW.
Connect the jack plug of the plug-in power supply with the rear of the
power supply socket of the receiver and plug the other end into an out-
let.
Switch on the receiver (press the "power" switch), the green LED next to
the switch will be lit.
