1.5 General Safety Instructions
The instrument can only to be used for the purpose described
Use only original accessories and original spare parts. Failure
to do so may result in dangerous situations.
The operators must be familiar with the contents of the operat-
ing instructions.
To this end, for example, the operating instructions must re-
main close by the instrument.
Do not remove labels
At all times keep in mind strict safety precautions while operat-
ing the instrument.
Unauthorized modification of the instrument or any part
thereof will result in the loss of the conformity to European di-
rectives which are asserted by Fritsch and the warranty.
Use the instrument only inside. The air must not contain any
electrical conductive dust.
Use the measuring system only in the Planetary mills of the
“FRITSCH GmbH".
The instrument is not explosion-proof and is unsuitable to
grind or sieve materials which are explosive, combustible or
promote combustion.
Operate the GTM system within its set operating parameters.
Don't use the GTM system unsupervised.
Keep an eye on movements of the mill and correct if neces-
sary the mass-distributions.
Keep an eye on slide-movements of the grinding-bowl and in-
crease if necessary the tension of the chuck.
Replace screws, which have worn out threads.
Use the measuring system only in dry environments.
Heed the security-hints of the instruction manuals of the
Planetary mills.
Calculate the enthalpie of the possibly originating new con-
nection before use of the GTM system. Ensure that only a lim-
ited amount of grinding substance is filled into the grinding-
bowl to avoid that the produced heat does not exceed
30kJoule.
Do not fill the grinding-bowl with any liquids when measuring.
Don't expose yourself unnecessarily to the emitted radio
waves.
Before you switch on the mill pull the charging cable from the
transmitter unit!
